In 2020, we will celebrate our 45th Anniversary of providing Construction Management, General Contracting, Design-Build, Preconstruction, and Virtual Design services across the Mid-Atlantic region. We pride ourselves in being capable and nimble, handling projects in varying market segments of all sizes, difficulty, and logistical complexity. Continuing to build on our flexibility, we have strategically added a new member to our team, Mike Smith, who is a Senior Project Manager in our newly formed Special Projects Division (SPD).<\/p>\n
Mike is an established leader in the construction industry with over 25 years of experience in the construction business. Mike has previously led his own construction firm and has worked alongside Bancroft on several projects as a trade partner. He has held roles as Superintendent, Project Manager, and Estimator, rounding out his skills to lead our Special Projects Division. He has experience working in surgical centers, classrooms, laboratories, residential houses, historic renovations, and government secured centers, as well as high school stadiums, gymnasiums, and field houses. These provide the framework for our newest endeavor, complementing the markets in which Bancroft already excels.<\/p>\n
Bancroft\u2019s Special Project Division develops and maintains relationships through diligence and effective communication while providing comprehensive, high-quality construction services at a competitive price. Bancroft SPD focuses on both public and private markets to successfully complete projects valued below $3 Million as well as small projects for Bancroft clients, post-warranty.<\/p>\n
SPD\u2019s project construction schedules will vary but will typically be less than one year in length and will utilize a self-performing group, incorporating the team\u2019s general contracting skills and project management expertise to the unique challenges of interior improvements, renovations, and retrofits. With Mike\u2019s ability to estimate and project manage, he focuses on client satisfaction, leadership for the on-site project team, estimating services, project reporting, and overall success of the project.<\/p>\n
